I checked out a couple of books from the library and one is about the samurai. Lately, I just want to make pictures with more appealing subject matter and foreign soldiers came to mind. The first picture is the latest and is of the Ohyoroi Armor, and below that is a Samurai Hitatare. The three-triangle motif that resembles the tri-force indicates the wearer is of the Hojo family. Below, are my initial drawings to get warmed up, and its of a Suoh Hitatare and Warrior Monk. All are done with ink.
